The Buried Giant is a masterful work of fiction by British-Japanese writer Ishiguro. From start to finish I found Buried Giant entertaining and gripping, with many unexpected plot twists and turns. I could hardly put this book down. In particular, I enjoyed how Ishiguro seamlessly interweaves the fantasy world of dragons and ogres with the lives of peasants, noblemen and knights in Middle Ages England. It is a riveting tale down the very end! It was a pleasure to read Buried Giant.
